Bio
Dennis Puhalla is Professor of Design at the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in visual language design, motion design, color theory, principles of two- and three-dimensional design. Students and colleagues recognize him for his outstanding teaching. Professor Puhalla served as Director of the School of Design for ten years, initiating innovative and visionary programs.
Professor Puhalla earned a Doctorate in Design Degree from North Carolina State University, College of Design. He holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Design Degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning.
Puhalla's professional work has been exhibited nationally and is included in public and private collections. Puhalla is committed to the field of design as educator, practitioner, researcher and consultant.
