Bio

I've been at Rockport since fall 2006 working with fantastic writers and designers to create inspirational and informative books on graphic design for graphic designers. I also serve as editor of this site, occasionally contributing a post for my column, "Editor on the Run." I've written articles for other design blogs such as Felt & Wire and Against the Grain. Prior to this, I was the editorial director at Dynamic Graphics, Inc., serving as editor in chief of STEP inside design. I was able to hone and develop my snarky attitude while waitressing at a truckstop as a teenager in Richfield, Wis.
