Confessions of an app junkie

I'm an app junkie.

Not a day goes by when I don't come across a new app. And I'll try practically all of them—as long as they're free. Some turn out to be pretty good... others, not so much. They are my bright, shiny object. More like a fling than an impulse buy, because sometimes you just need to break things off.

Of course, all of that downloading can really take a chunk out of your day. Not a problem. The App Store has a solution. In fact, dozens of potential solutions, all in the form of to-do list apps!

There are so many to-do list apps to try. Even for me, it's utterly exhausting subject matter to even think about. Which begs the question: Can I really be that concerned with being productive if I'm spending this much time looking at productivity tools?

I'll confess to personally trying out all of these to-do list apps:

  • Any.do
  • Action Method
  • Wunderlist
  • TuexDeux
  • Do.com
  • Orchestra
  • Paperless
  • Clear

And I'm still looking for the perfect one. It will come along soon, right? If not, maybe that's something for you app developers to add to your to-do list. That is, of course, if you're not already busy working on the next great app in my personal favorite app category: bathroom finder apps.

The very existence of this category cracks me up. I mean, can you think of a better example of an app that it's already too late to download should you ever really need it?
